The National Association of Realtors, which claims its members are held to a higher ethical standard than non-Realtor licensees, has once again adjusted the increment members will required to complete ethics training to every three years, up from the currently required every two years.

In 2017 NAR changed the requirement to every two years, cutting in half the prior standard of every four years. December 31, 2021 will mark the end of the current two year cycle. The vote in favor of the change was 489-352.

Also, non-Realtor ethics courses will no longer be accepted for credit.
